Sara is an associate at Hanotiau Tossens Goldman. She was admitted to the Brussels Bar in September 2021 and began her bar traineeship in the regulatory team at Bird & Bird.

During the first two years of her legal career, Sara practised food law where she developed a strong interest in the contractual aspects of the agri-food sector.

This experience prompted her to join Tossens Goldman Gonne in January 2024, where she started specialising in civil and commercial litigation, including arbitration. She is also involved in corporate law matters.

Sara is involved in the following cases:

  • Representation of the Luxembourg subsidiary of one of the world’s largest construction groups in a high-stakes dispute concerning the development of a major real estate project valued at several million euros.
  • Representation of a leading Swiss company in the construction and real estate services sector, specializing in large-scale international projects, in a cross-border dispute with a Belgian company. The dispute concerned product defects affecting a major project in Switzerland, involving significant technical and financial issues.
  • Representation of the Italian subsidiary of one of the largest and oldest infrastructure companies in Israël regarding the enforcement of a first-demand guarantee.
  • Representation of the leading Portugal-based subsidiary of a company active in the agricultural sector on a dispute relating to the execution of a task force agreement concluded between the parties to jointly develop and share data for the re-approval of a substance.
  • Representing a Belgian real estate player in a major project development dispute.
  • Advising client in connection with unfair trade practices and unfair competition proceedings.
  • Advising client on the merger and acquisition of a company providing insurance solutions tailored to the audiovisual industry.
  • Assisted the Federal Holding and Investment Company (SFPIM) in numerous transactions relating to the sale and acquisition of equity stakes.
